New Dimensions Supreme is a concentrated all purpose mildly alkaline cleaner and degreaser. Supreme helps to eliminate high disposal costs and problems. It can be used over and over in the same solution effectively.

Supreme eliminates highly dangerous vapor systems, makes water “wetter”, penetrate deeper, emulsifies and suspends dirt and soil quicker and is safer and easier to use. Supreme is free rinsing and therefore, leaves no film or
residue. After cleaning the surface is often ready for plating, painting or welding with no additional preparation necessary. Supreme has a built-in inhibitor for short term elimination or oxidation.

Applications MacDermid New Dimensions Supreme Alkaline Liquid Cleaner

Supreme is an excellent replacement for vapor degreasers and other ozone depleting cleaning agents. It can be used in soak cleaning tanks, parts washers (mechanical and ultrasonic) or manually with tanks, power scrubbers or spray bottles.

Supreme is safe on steel, chrome, cadmium, bronze, iron, nickel, copper, stainless steel, lead, brass and most alloys. Completely safe on aluminum when used as directed. Also safe on rubber, neoprene, nylon and glass. Safe on painted surfaces when diluted 1 to 5 or more with water.

Supreme is effective in both hot and cold solutions. Cleaning efficiency is increased with agitation (mechanical, ultrasonic, heat). Although it is difficult to recommend an exact cleaning cycle prior to specific application testing, the following cycles can be used as a guideline.

Heavy degreasing with Supreme should employ temperature and/or mechanical agitation to remove oil from the immersed part. When cleaning heavy grease, caked-on soils or parts with difficult geometry’s, the use of ultrasonic energy will aid in the cleaning process.

For general cleaning, Supreme can be used in hot or cold solutions. Aluminum, steel, cast iron and most other metals can be cleaned in the same concentrations of Supreme without etching the aluminum. In most applications rinsing of the part is required to remove any remaining contaminants and residual cleaning solution.

For every part to clean there is a proper solution concentration and immersion time for using Supreme. Because it is safe on any washable surface, and is totally water soluble, you should experiment with different concentrations and dwell times. Some method of agitation and heat will always give quicker results
