Brayco Micronic 889 is a synthetic hydrocarbon and formulated for use in the electronic cooling systems of ground-based and airborne closed loop hydraulic systems. It has excellent dielectric properties, is hydrolytically stable and harmless to most common metals of construction.

Brayco Micronic 889 meets the requirements of MIL-PRF-87252C and is identified by NATO Code Number S-1748. It is designed to operate over the temperature range of -54ºC to 135ºC (-65ºF to 275ºF).
