Decathlon Extreme Synthetic Pressure Gear Oil

Decathlon Extreme is formulated to meet the exacting demands of gearboxes operating under the most challenging conditions such as heavy load, shock loading, and frequent reversing action. The fully synthetic base oil blend has been formulated to ensure maximum viscosity stability over varying temperature conditions, making it ideal for applications exposed to cold weather or external sources of heat such as ovens.

Decathlon Extreme is the ideal choice in situations where there is excessive internal friction, leading to overheating and wear.

Due to the synthetic base oil and anti-oxidant additives, Decathlon Extreme is the recommended where difficult operating conditions shorten the life of conventional gear oils. Contaminants such as sludge, varnish and carbon are minimized or eliminated altogether.

Applications of Decathlon Extreme Synthetic Pressure Gear Oil

Use Decathlon Extreme on gearboxes that are subjected to severe or shock load, external sources of heat or cold, and on gearboxes that overheat due to internal friction.

Decathlon Extreme was designed to meet the specifications of Hitachi for use on final drive planetary gears and front wheel bearings of dump truck models: EH4500 series, EH4500-2 series and EH5000 series. It also meets AGMA 9005-E02, DIN 51517-3, US Steel 224, ISO 12925-1 CKD, David Brown S1.53.101, GM LS2 and Cincinnati Machine Gear.
